PROJECT: SENIOR THESIS
We all know sugar is bad for you, but do you know really know the dangers of eating added sugar? Welcome to my senior thesis. This thesis examines the dangers of added sugar in the modern diet and how graphic design can be a powerful tool for educating the public on these risks. Through the use of various visual techniques, this project demonstrates the potential of graphics to inform and influence public opinion.
The project examines the physical and psychological effects of added sugar, as well as
the ways that food companies use marketing tactics to manipulate consumers into buying unhealthy products.
By providing a comprehensive overview of this ever present issue, this thesis aims to encourage viewers to make more informed decisions about their diet and health.
Years later I am still as passionate as ever by this subject matter and I have helped many friends and family cut down on their added sugar intake. My passion for this topic is the main reason I keep it on my portfolio.
